Privacy Notice (Aviso de Privacidad)

This is a courtesy English translation. For Mexican residents, the Spanish version of this Aviso de Privacidad is the official, controlling text for purposes of the Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares (LFPDPPP). Data controller (Responsable)

PADDIO SPORT TECHNOLOGIES, with domicile at Río San Lorenzo #214, Col. Compuertas, C.P. 21218, Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico (RFC PST250520J14), is responsible for the processing of your personal data. Contact: contacto@paddio.club.

Personal data we process

  • Identification and contact: name, email, phone number, avatar photo.
  • Sporting profile: preferred sport, skill level, team/partner data, results.
  • Third-party data you provide: when you register a doubles partner or a person in your care (a "managed player", such as a child), that person's name and, optionally, email or phone.
  • Transactional: event registrations, bookings, memberships, purchases, and payment status (payments processed by Stripe).
  • Technical: device, app version, IP address, usage logs, push tokens, and, in the mobile app, your approximate location only if you grant the permission, to show events near you.

We do not process sensitive personal data.

Purposes

Primary purposes (necessary for the relationship): create and authenticate your account; process registrations, bookings, memberships, and purchases; process payments and refunds; send transactional communications; provide support; ensure security; and comply with legal obligations.

Secondary purposes (require your consent): sending promotional or marketing communications and non-essential analytics. You may refuse or withdraw consent for secondary purposes at any time by writing to contacto@paddio.club, without affecting the primary service.

Transfers

We use service providers (encargados) — Supabase (hosting/database/authentication), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), and push-notification providers — who process data on our instructions. We share registration data with the Club whose service you use, including any doubles-partner or managed-player details you provided. We do not carry out transfers requiring your consent except as the law permits; we will not transfer your data to third parties for their own purposes without your consent where required by law.

Minors and managed players

You must be 18 or older to create a Paddio account; minors may not create accounts or provide data directly, and we do not knowingly collect data directly from minors. An adult may register a minor for an event as a managed player, providing only the minimal data needed to enter them (a name and, optionally, a phone number, with no account or email). In doing so, the adult states that they are the minor's parent or legal guardian, or otherwise act on their behalf, and is responsible for that information. We process a managed player's data solely to manage their participation and share it with the organizing Club. A parent or guardian may exercise ARCO rights over that data through the means described in this notice.

ARCO rights and consent

You may exercise your rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation, and Opposition (ARCO), limit the use or disclosure of your data, or withdraw consent, by sending a request to contacto@paddio.club including your name, the right you wish to exercise, and a means to contact you. We will respond within the timeframes set by the LFPDPPP.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice. Changes will be published at app.paddio.club/aviso-de-privacidad with a revised "Last updated" date.
